The Clare Credit Unions Adult Camogie Championship concluded on Saturday with two thrillers of matches in the senior championship.
Newcomers to senior, Clarecastle/ Ballyea won their first silverware at this level when they overcame an experienced Kilmaley side in the Glenomra Senior Shield Final at Fr. McNamara Park on a scoreline of 1-13 to 1-12.
Cusack Park set the scene on Saturday afternoon for an absolute battle for glory between holders, Scariff-Ogonnelloe and Truagh-Clonlara. What a match it was, the result resting in the balance throughout!! In the end, it was Truagh-Clonlara that came out on top, claiming their first senior McMahon Cup - final score Truagh-Clonlara 2-11 Scariff-Ogonnelloe 1-13
