The first of Clare Camogie’s Club League finals were played on Saturday at Fr McNamara Park in Ennis
First up was the local derby pairing of Cratloe and Parteen Meelick in the Division 5 final.
Both clubs came from Group 1 with Cratloe topping the group and Parteen just behind them in second place. Cratloe overcame Broadford in the semi final while Parteen Meelick saw off the challenge of St Josephs Doora Barefield.
While Cratloe may have carried the favourites tag into the final, having come out on the winning side of the opening round v Parteen Meelick, it was joint captains Emma Hastings and Sarah Woods that lifted the trophy at the final whistle having secured Parteen Meelicks first ever title at adult level.
Final Score: Parteen Meelick 1-09 Cratloe 0-08
