Clare travelled to Athleague to Play Roscommon in the rescheduled Round 2 of the Div 3 Littlewoods league. Niki Kaiser got the opening score for Clare which came from a sideline pass from Sinead Power. Clare followed up with 2 points from play from Louise McDonnell. Roscommon aided with a strong breeze in the first half quickly responded with a goal and 2 points in quick succession to put them ahead. Clare continued to work hard putting pressure on the Roscommon defence resulting in 4 converted frees from Niki Kaiser. In the dying minutes of the first half Roscommon tacked on a goal and 3 points from play while Clares only response was a well-executed goal from Louise McDonnell following a well-placed pass from an incoming attack by Niamh Mulqueen. This left Clare 1 point behind going into the second half on a scoreline of Roscommon 2-5 to Clare 1-7.   

    
In the second half Clare played with the aid of the breeze. Tara Rynne opened the scoring with a point following a hand pass from Helen Hehir. Throughout the second half Roscommon and Clare traded scores with Niki Kaiser adding 4 points to Roscommons 6 points, leaving Clare trailing by 2 points heading for full time before Niki Kaiser had Clares last score with a pointed free to leave just 1 point between the sides. Clare did have a number of chances to go ahead in the final minutes but Roscommon had the extra pace in the final minutes resulting in Roscommon slotting home 2 points to leave 3 between the sides on a final score Roscommon 2-13  Clare 1-13. 

  
Clare had a number of outstanding performances with Siobhan Lane in goals with a number of great saves, Megan O'Brien, Louise Browne and Aisling McMahon in defence, midfield duo of Sarah Redmond and Niki Kaiser with 10 points, Helen Hehir, Niamh Mulqueen and Louise McDonnell in forwards who proved a handful for the Roscommon defence.
Clare now play Dublin in the Div 3 League Semi Final on Sunday 16th April.
