With only 11 days to go to the 2026 Poc Fada All Ireland competition we look back on the Munster Competition and pass on our best wishes to Sadhbh Whelan of Whitegate Camogie who will represent Whitegate, Clare & Munster at the National U16 competition on Monday 3rd August in Annaverna, Co. Louth.

In June, Clare Camogie had four representatives at the Munster Poc Fada in the Galtee Mountains.
Isabella McInerney (Ruan) and Sophie Sheedy (Scariff-Ogonnelloe) took part in the Senior Competition, with Lily Flannery (Sixmilebridge) and Sadhbh Whelan (Whitegate) participating in the U16 competition. Congratulations to all for your participation and representing Clare so well at the provincial competition.
Sadhbh Whelan of Whitegate came out on top in the U16 Munster competition and now goes on to represent her club, county and province at the National Competition taking place on the Monday of the August Bank Holiday. The countdown to Annaverna is on!
