On Saturday night, The Camogie Association held their annual Media, Volunteer & Referee awards night at Croke Park.

Clare Camogie was well represented on the night, but it was Brid MacNamara that stole the show.

Brid, collecting her 2nd in a row "Mick Dunne Best Match Programme" award on behalf of Clare Camogie, was singled out and praised lavishly by Uachtatrán, Hilda Breslin in her welcoming address. Brids' level of commitment, attention to detail, and all round work ethic during her tenure as Clare Camogie PRO was applauded and held up as an example to all. 13 media awards is an unbelievable achievement.

Noreen Vaughan ( Éire Óg) was honoured as Clare Camogie Volunteer of the Year. In her first year as Éire Ógs Healthy Club officer, Noreen has implemented and introduced several successful Healthy Club initiatives to members of all ages.

Aaron Hogg (Truagh Clonlara) is a well known and respected referee on Clare Camogie pitches. On Saturday night he was presented with his medal for officiating at the National League Division 2 Final.
