The second of Saturdays Club League finals saw the second strings of both Whitegate and Tulla face off at Fr McNamara Park in the Division 6 final.
The teams came from opposite groups with each topping their respective table. A Tulla win over Corofin and a Whitegate victory v The Banner pitted these sides against each other in Saturdays final.
These sides know each other well and they faced off with a palpable sense of rivalry, but in a keenly contested battle, it was Whitegate that came out on top on this occasion with a 1-7 to 0-03 win.
