Newmarket on Fergus 2-05 v Kilmaley 1-05
Kilmaley and Newmarket contested the U13A cup final on Saturday at Fr Mc Namara Park played in glorious sunshine. Kilmaley settled into the game well and unlucky not to a few scores on the board. Moira Maher made one of her trade mark runs up the field, however an excellent save by Newmarket keeper denying them a goal scoring opportunity. Kilmaley settled into the game getting on the scoreboard with a great point from Aine Lees. A foul on Caoimhe Mc Mahon, Ally Carmody delivering the ball into Cait Clancy to put Kilmaley ahead by two points to no score. Kilmaley defending well against the Newmarket pressure with Holly Hennessy and Lexi Martin battling hard, and Caoimhe Cleary between the posts bringing off a great save. Cait Clancy followed with another point from free putting them 3 points ahead, Newmarket finishing the half with one point from place ball, leaving the half time score Kilmaley 0-3 to Newmarket 0-1. Kilmaley got the 2nd half to a perfect start with a brave run from Caoimhe Neylon rattling the net for a great goal. Newmarket centre back putting ball over the bar from placed ball inside 5th minute. Caoimhe Neylon following up with another point. Newmarket picked up a gear in the second half and dominating the play with some well taken scores. A foul on Aine Lees with Cait Clancy pointing from free still leaving Kilmaley ahead 1-5 to 1-2 going into the last quarter. Another Newmarket goal bringing them closer as they continued to pile on the pressure, Kilmaley's Leah Griffin working tirelessly, however Newmarket put 3 further points in the last few minutes to leave the final score 1-5 to 2-5. Kilmaley will rue missed opportunities but battled bravely right to the end. Both sides giving their all in difficult weather conditions.

Sixmilebridge 2-06 v 0-01 Scariff Ogonnelloe
Sixmilebridge opened up the scoring on Saturday in Fr. McNamara park with a point from play in the very first minute of the match. Both sides battled hard in very warm conditions with Sixmilebridge coming out on top with a scoreline of 2-6 to 0-1.

Kilkishen Bodyke 6-06 v 2-07 St Josephs DB
Kilkishen Bodyke eventually came out on top of this keenly contested final with a 6-06 to 2-07 victory over St Josephs Doora Barefield. Played in sweltering conditions at Fr McNamara Park on Saturday, the high standard of play was a credit to both teams.
